Allison Retractor is a handheld, non-ratcheted retractor used for holding lung tissue. It has a solid handle with a finger rest at the bottom and a flattened wire spatula shaped working surface. The wires are flexible and extend downward slightly away from the handle before slightly curving upwards again. The instrument resembles a flattened kitchen whisk. This product is straight with a 54mm retracting surface, and a length of 320 mm.

bulldog clamps have serrated jaws and a spring-loaded action that grips and hold sutures, blood vessels and other tissue. These are basically used in cardiovascular surgeries.

Giertz Rib Shears are optimally designed for cutting ribs in cardiothoracic surgery. The right-angled turn in the neck of this shear allows for increased maneuverability while maintaining the handle out of the surgical field. This unique design allows for the rib to be clipped while still leaving the surgical field open and accessible by taking the handle out of the plane of the ribs. The hook shaped blade allows the contour of the rib to sit in this groove and be cut cleanly.

Finchietto Rib Spreader is designed with traditional curved arms. This instrument is ideally used in cardiothoracic surgeries to create and maintain a space between the ribs to allow clear access to the surgical field. These spreaders come with a traditional slight curvature to the arms giving them a contour that allows a more secure fit and hold. Additionally, this instrument is available in three sizes with varying spread 6", 8" and 10".
